Key Responsibilities

• Oversee claims procedures, settlements, and ensure reserve adequacy for effective risk management.
• Carry out comprehensive claims reviews, providing constructive insights and recommendations.
• Evaluate and manage injury claims while facilitating mediation efforts as necessary.
• Assess claims supervision capabilities for potential insureds, ensuring optimal service delivery.
• Travel occasionally for mediations, customer engagements, and relevant industry seminars.

Required Skills

• Extensive background in managing complex and litigated transportation claims or other commercial liability matters, particularly within the commercial auto sector.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with third-party administrators and claims departments.
• Superior skills in litigation, negotiation, problem-solving, and mediation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in evaluating and assessing injury claims.
