Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with insured clients, their claims departments, or external third-party administrators.
- Oversee claims procedures, settlements, and ensure reserve adequacy for effective risk management.
- Carry out comprehensive claims reviews, providing constructive insights and recommendations.
- Evaluate and manage injury claims while facilitating mediation efforts as necessary.
- Assess claims supervision capabilities for potential insureds, ensuring optimal service delivery.
- Travel occasionally for mediations, customer engagements, and relevant industry seminars.
Required Skills
- Extensive background in managing complex and litigated transportation claims or other commercial liability matters, particularly within the commercial auto sector.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with third-party administrators and claims departments.
- Superior skills in litigation, negotiation, problem-solving, and mediation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in evaluating and assessing injury claims.
- Willingness to travel as required for the role.
