Areas of Responsibility:
Logistics
- Receiving inbound materials for inventory in ambient, 4 degree, -20 degree, and -80 degree temperature storage areas
- Assembly of kits for fulfilment of orders
- Stock putaway, expiration checking, and counting for inventory purposes
- Creating shipping documentation to include shipping labels, delivery notes, commercial invoices as needed for international shipments, TSCA documents for inbound items, EEI documents, and other document as needed
- Shipping small packages in ambient, ice pack, and dry ice conditions
- Shipment of crates on pallets weighing up to 200KG
- Daily tracking of all packages
- Communication with internal customers
- Communication with suppliers and couriers including arranging shipments for demonstration kits and service units
- Obtaining and checking shipping documents from suppliers.
- Being the point of contact for and working closely with logistics companies, couriers, and hauliers to ensure all customer shipments are actioned in a timely and efficient manner
- Reviewing customers’ documentation and creating declarations in line with CBP and current legislation
- Commercial invoice generation
- Understanding of Incoterms, VAT/Tax, and HTS codes
- Preparation and issue of import instructions to brokers for the release of goods by customs; providing customs clearance information.
- Continuous improvement and lean technique initiatives
- Implementing corrective action initiatives to improve performance
- Use of various equipment: pallet truck, powered lifters, and power tools
- Raising of purchase orders and the processing of incoming invoices from suppliers
Job Related Skills and Experience
- Experience of working in logistics within a busy distribution centre type environment
- Experience working independently without a full team around
- Knowledge with North American based logistics/transport companies
- Knowledge of the international transportation and logistics industry, particularly Air and Road
- Experience in warehouse/stores
- The ability to communicate effectively in both a written and verbal capaci

- We use Radford data to ensure we offer competitive salaries. We expect to offer a base salary between 56,000 and 70,000 USD for this role, depending on the candidate’s experience.
