Job Responsibilites
Strategy and Planning
- Contribute to the development of Data Management Office business plan ensuring alignment with ZATCA strategy
- Develop the operational plan for Data Management in line with Data Management Office business plan and Risk & Analytics strategic plan
- Implement plans and provide input to enable achievement of Data Management goals that support ZATCA’s overall strategic plans
Budget Management
- Discuss Data Management budgeting requirements with top management and provide input to the budgeting process
- Ensure effective utilization of Data Management budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
- Investigate and propose implementing initiatives that result in positive financial impact for Data Management and mitigates financial and operational risks
Data Management Planning
- Develop Data Management strategy and related plans, initiatives and programs in line with best practices and ZATCA’s strategic direction, rules and regulations
- Promote awareness in data protection, automation and storage across the organization and build communication channels to ensure proper information sharing data related laws, rules and regulations
- Direct development of data management policies, standards and procedures ensuring alignment with ZATCA’s overall strategy
- Lead development of programs managing meta data and information assets to ensure integrity and quality
- Manage development of roles, responsibilities and rules to related data owners to facilitate traceability of data breaches
Data Management Oversight
- Follow-up on implementation of data management plans and review identified data issues to interfere when needed for resolution
- Recommend improvement areas and guide accordingly development of new data management projects to optimize the use of data within the bounds of policies and guidelines
- Monitor proper implementation of data management projects to ensure accurate and prompt delivery of services requested by ZATCA’s functions
- Oversee implementation of improvement action plans to minimize facing new data related issues
- Review developed reports and data assessments to keep track on ZATCA’s compliance levels with data standards and policies
People Management
- Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent
- Guide, mentor and support direct reports in order to execute duties according to set policies and processes
- Develop individual performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate/appraise team and provide regular feedback on performance
- Establish a high-performance working environment and promote ZATCA values

Eductaion
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or equivalent is required
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or equivalent is preferred
Experience
An optimal of 8 years of relevant experience, with a preferred 3 years of experience in managerial level
