Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager for our Thiruvananthapuram location. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. The role involves overseeing daily operations, enhancing customer experiences, and ensuring smooth retail functions. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in inventory management software, retail analytics, and CRM to drive store success.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software to efficiently monitor and control stock levels (Mandatory skill).
- Experience with retail analytics to analyze customer data and sales trends for business enhancement (Mandatory skill).
- Competency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty (Mandatory skill).
- Hands-on experience with POS systems for processing sales transactions and managing customer interactions.
- Ability to utilize staff scheduling software for optimal employee management and efficient workforce allocation.
- Expertise in sales forecasting tools to predict future sales and strategize accordingly to meet targets.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, inventory tracking, and reporting purposes.
- Strong conflict resolution skills to effectively handle customer grievances and team disputes for maintaining harmony.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and retail best practices.
- Manage and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels and order stock to meet customer demand while minimizing overstock situations.
- Analyze sales data and generate reports to inform strategic decisions for improving store performance.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and increase sales.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and satisfactorily to maintain a high level of customer retention.
- Coordinate with the marketing department to plan and execute promotional events and campaigns.
- Ensure the store is well-maintained and meets safety, cleanliness, and display standards at all times.
