Content Manager (Contract/Freelance) At VML, we are a beacon of innovation and growth in an ever-evolving world. You’ll be responsible for the supporting the creation and implementation of content strategies that align with client objectives, brand voice, and user experience goals. These will be across various platforms such as digital and social media channels. You will work closely with the Experience Team to ensure that all content delivered is on-brand, user-centric, and optimized for engagement across digital platforms. Your role would also involve working closely with Data, UX & Creative teams to identify and qualify new revenue opportunities directly with existing clients, or to pursue new business. What you’ll do Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Experience Team to develop and implement content strategies that align with business and clients’ goals. Content Creation & Curation: Oversee the creation and curation of compelling, high-quality content for various digital platforms (websites, social media, blogs, emails, etc.), ensuring consistency in messaging and tone Be able to articulate content strategy to brief in the Creative team, and work in partnership on the development of effective content that aligns with the brand’s identity Brand Guardian: Ensure all content maintains the brand objective and aligns with the broader marketing strategy from the client. Project Management: Manage content production workflows, timelines, and deliverables, working cross-functionally with designers, copywriters, and developers. Content Optimization & SEO: Optimize content for search engines and ensure it drives traffic, engagement, and conversions. Content Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance, using analytics tools to track KPIs, identify trends, and adjust content strategies accordingly. Commercial Acumen: Can collaborate cross-functionally to produce strategic proposals and presentations that win additional business Updated: Stay informed on platform and trend updates, and actively collaborate with other stakeholders and teams both internal and external to deliver best-in-class campaigns Client Management: Work closely with Account Management team and the clients for better understand of their needs and ensure that deliverables are correct What you’ll need Min 3-5 years of experience in content creation and management or similar capacit, preferably within a creative agency or marketing communications environment Proven track record of effective content marketing for major brands/ clients Experienced in using digital and social listening and measurement tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search analytics, Socialbakers, Locowise, Netbase, Meltwater, Sprinklr, Crimson Hexagon) to derive insights or conduct performance reporting and optimisation Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, user experience principles, and SEO best practices. Experience with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.). Expertise in digital marketing, in order to push and optimise content across multiple channels (SEO, SEM, GDN, Social) Strong understanding of the nuances and best practices across the various digital and social platforms Proven ability to grow, engage and maintain critical client and internal relationships Experienced in developing effective brand partnerships and content with influencers, KOLs and content publishers Prior lead-content role with ability to think independently and collaborate in a team-oriented workplace At VML, we are committed to fostering an all-inclusive work environment that is both rewarding and career-forward.
