Travel Nurse RN – ER/Trauma – $2,310 per week in Redlands, CA

Job Title: Registered NurseJob Specialty: Emergency RoomJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: Day 3×12-Hour (07:00 – 19:30)Guaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: Minimum of 2 years experience required; qualified candidates must have at least 18 months of experience as core staff in their first nursing job.License: Valid CA License required at time of submissionCertifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only), MAB, NIH, PALSMust-Have:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced ER environment- At least 18 months of experience as core staff in the first nursing job- No history of assignment cancellations- Willingness to cover every other weekend- COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster required (Medical/Religious Exemptions only)- Flu Vaccine required (Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations allowed)Job Description:- Work in a fast-paced Emergency Room in a facility that requires handling a variety of adult and pediatric cases.- Provide care including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, BPA, and central line care/management.- Responsible for starting IVs, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, and managing ventilated patients.- Follow isolation precautions and perform patient triage.- Utilize the Omnicell medication system and Meditech documentation.- Supported by provider services including interpretation, lift teams, pharmacy, phlebotomy, physical therapy, radiology, respiratory services, social services, and unit secretary.- Work in collaboration with intensivists, nurse practitioners, hospitalists, and anesthesiologists.Skills/Experience Preferred:- Experience in a stroke-certified facility- Arterial line management, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration- Experience with ICP monitoring, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, ortho-trauma, head injury, near drowning, interpretation of ABGs, gunshot wounds, and traumatic amputations.
