Community Engagement Specialist

Job Description

About Better Angels

Los Angeles is facing an epidemic of homelessness. Despite billions of dollars approved by taxpayers to address the crisis over the last several years, the situation has further deteriorated. The government cannot handle this epidemic alone. Existing nonprofits are too constrained to have the broad impact necessary to address the issue at scale. Better Angels is taking a holistic approach to confront the many aspects of this huge, complex, and seemingly intractable problem, focusing on the following pillars: Prevention, Services, Technology, Shelter, and Housing – creating impact through supporting partners, developing innovative solutions, and mobilizing the residents of Los Angeles County.
