Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of infectious disease programs, including staff training, deliverables management, and compliance adherence.
• Provide high-quality nursing care, including assessments, education, and counseling for patients with infectious diseases.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless patient care.
• Develop and implement innovative strategies aimed at improving patient outcomes, such as treatment adherence and resource linkage.
• Collect, analyze, and present program data to monitor progress and identify areas for enhancement.
• Stay informed about the latest clinical guidelines and best practices relevant to infectious disease care.
• Advocate for patient needs, ensuring access to essential resources and support systems.

Required Skills

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
• Experience in infectious disease nursing or a related field.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently while also functioning collaboratively within a team.
• Preferred: Experience working with vulnerable populations, knowledge of Ryan White programs, data analysis expertise, and bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred).
