Position Summary

As a Remote Elementary Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of our students’ educational journey during a teacher’s absence. Your focus will be on delivering lesson plans, facilitating effective learning, and maintaining a harmonious classroom atmosphere. You may also assist remote educators in managing their classrooms effectively, contributing to an enriching learning experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the classroom teacher’s lesson plans to cultivate a productive learning environment.
• Maintain a professional demeanor that supports students’ academic and emotional development.
• Collaborate with remote teachers for classroom management, aiding both in-person and online students as required.
• Create an engaging learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff, upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least two years of college coursework (60 semester credit hours).
• Preferred experience in a classroom setting or in working with children in a structured environment.
• Successful completion of a background check, along with reference and fingerprinting clearance.
