Elevate Patient Financial Solutions has an exciting career opportunity available an Accounts Receivable Specialist in our Accounting Department.

This will be a remote-based role.

The full-time schedule will be 6:30AM – 4PM Mon-Thurs and 7AM-11AM (CST) on Friday.

Job Summary

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a skilled financial specialist to help issue invoices, monitor accounts receivable, and assist with collections. The AR Specialist will help support the company in optimizing the invoice generation, collections, and client communications through out each month.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Under the mentorship of the Accounts Receivable Manager the AR Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and complete invoicing and delivery of invoices to customers.
  • Assist with collections once all invoices have been generated for the month.
  • Aid in invoice revisions as needed.
  • Assist in credit and debit memo research in accounting system.
  • Apply cash receipts in accounting system.
  • Support auditor inquiries by providing necessary information as requested.
  • Assist with special projects within the invoicing and collection team.
  • Excel skill set is maintained at optimal level to develop and produce meaningful and accurate analysis and reports.
  • Adheres to corporate compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities.

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows and Exchange email required
  • Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful)
  • Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally, as well as to interact in a professional manner with colleagues, public, and client’s staff members
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills a must
  • Ability to multi-task; excellent organizational and planning skills required

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
