Purchase Engineer

• Procurement Planning Execution:
• Raise and process purchase orders for material and brought-out vendors in coordination Key with project requirements.
• Source and procure materials required for machine manufacturing while ensuring compliance with quality and cost standards.
• Vendor Management:
• Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with reliable vendors for timely procurement.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely supplies.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to agreed terms and quality standards.
• Material Management:
• Track the bill of materials (BOM) required for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Ensure proper documentation and records of material transactions, supplier agreements, and purchase data.
• Work closely with the design and production teams to align procurement schedules with project timelines.
• Cost Control Optimization:
• Evaluate and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining material quality.
• Analyze market trends and supplier pricing to achieve competitive procurement costs.
• Coordination Reporting:
• Liaise with the project, purchase, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of materials.
• Generate periodic procurement reports and updates on purchase orders, pending deliveries, and inventory status.
• Handle vendor reconciliation in coordination with the accounts team.
