Job Summary

The Retail Planning and Allocation Manager is responsible for creating an accurate, consistent, complete and organized display of AYR Retail inventory on E-Commerce. This includes but is not limited to Dutchie, Dutchie E-Commerce, MJ Freeway & METRC.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Weekly allocations of internal product from AYR grow/ make facilities to AYR Retail locations in FL.
  • Synched with promo calendar and margin targets
  • Coordinate multiple deliveries per week with Grow/ Make Logistics Teams for locations with vault challenges, especially around EOM/ EOQ BOT deals
  • Ensure each location has an up-to-date menu with Regulator approved and compliant descriptions maximizing highest menu score for each store and helping to drive online ADS
  • Audit the Dutchie Backoffice catalog with proper and accurate tagging/information vendor, brand, strain, form, weight/ dose, name, cannabinoid and terpene test results, and all other descriptive information
  • Update Dutchie Backoffice with any new product information as batches are sold out and new batches come in
  • Ensure batches are moving through in FIFO order
  • Create/activate promo coupon codes in Dutchie POS/ Backoffice and Dutchie E-Commerce according to promo calendar
  • Create/activate expiration discount codes in Dutchie POS/ Backoffice and Dutchie E-Commerce according to Dutchie reports
  • Coordinate with Inventory Teams to ensure products are available for sale no later than 24 hours from receipt
  • Participate in required standing weekly meetings for assistance with allocations, planning, and promotions Retail Marketing Meetings
  • Retail/ Wholesale Allocation Meetings (where applicable)
  • Utilize all appropriate troubleshooting techniques, support contacts and ticketing systems to resolve any issues with menu curation
  • Audit competitors’ menus daily and provide details on pricing, product assortments and promotional differences
  • Oversee and ensure consistency in product pictures, product descriptions, and menu layout across all locations
  • Work with Marketing to upload vendor-approved pictures into Dutchie Backoffice for import into Dutchie E-Commerce
  • If a vendor does not provide assets, it is the responsibility of this individual to find or create them (in collaboration with the marketing team)
  • Ensure in collaboration with the Marketing Team that e-commerce menu banners are updated and correct accordance with the retail promo calendar.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in retail operations, planning, inventory management, or allocations, preferably in cannabis or a highly regulated industry.
  • Hands-on experience with inventory systems and compliance tools such as Dutchie, METRC, and MJ Freeway.
  • Strong ability to analyze inventory data to ensure FIFO order and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Experience auditing competitor pricing, promotional strategies, and product assortments.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Equivalent combination of work/education experience accepted
