NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Coordinator, Esports based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office.

This person is responsible for supporting NASCAR’s competitive gaming initiatives, focusing primarily on the eNASCAR iRacing Series and other sim racing activities. The Coordinator will develop and optimize series content, promotional assets, and community engagement strategies to drive fan interaction, generate revenue, and grow partnerships. Additionally, the role will be responsible for tracking industry trends and managing relationships with key stakeholders, including teams, competitors, partners, and content creators.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Develop and traffic promotional assets, including NASCAR iRacing Series broadcast and partner content.
  • Manage and analyze series consumption reports and insights, distributing timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Faciliate internal requests related to sim racing activations; manage relationships with simulator providers.
  • Develop and implement marketing and content plans for all supported racing series.
  • Organize and catalog eNASCAR content; collaborate with the Community Coordinator to maximize its impact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with racing simulator providers and equipment manufacturers.
  • Prepare sponsorship materials and proposals.
  • Identify and recruit content creators and esports organizations, developing plans to ensure a full field of teams.
  • Ensure timely communication of series updates to teams, drivers, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate partner activation plans, including logistics, budgeting, and onsite management.
  • Engage with teams and drivers to share best practices and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal NASCAR departments to ensure sim racing initiatives align with broader organizational goals.
  • Maintain relationships with trackside simulator experience producers to enhance collaboration opportunities.
  • Travel: 10-15%, including weekends.
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, with a minimum of three (3) years related experience in esports, gaming, social media, or community management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in company-provided software, including social media management, reporting tools, and analytics platforms. Experience with content management systems and esports/gaming-specific platforms preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in esports, gaming, or related content platform verticals.
  • Strong knowledge of digital content channels, industry best practices, and emerging trends in esports and gaming.
  • Avid sim racing fan with a passion for growing the competitive gaming community.
  • Proven experience with asset management and branding for organizations.
  • Ability to analyze content performance, social sentiment, and audience engagement using analytics tools.
  • Enthusiasm for engaging in NASCAR-related content and conversations, including attending events.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for eNASCAR events as needed.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
