Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to step into the role of Assistant Director of Community & Family Support Services. In this pivotal position, you will lead initiatives aimed at positively transforming the lives of young individuals and families within our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a dynamic team by providing supervision, mentorship, and fostering an inclusive work culture.
• Design and execute innovative programs that effectively address the diverse needs of our community.
• Cultivate robust partnerships with community agencies, stakeholders, and funding organizations to extend our outreach and enhance program effectiveness.
• Ensure program excellence by overseeing operational compliance with regulations and conducting thorough quality assurance assessments.
• Manage fiscal responsibilities, contributing to budget formulation and financial oversight to secure program sustainability.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record in team mentorship.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration.
• Proficient organizational and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges.
• Competence in grant writing and report generation.
• Thorough understanding of Positive Youth Development, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care.
• Familiarity with child welfare systems and community-based service frameworks.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Public Health, Human Services, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in program management, including supervisory roles.
• Demonstrated experience in community service initiatives.
