Job Description
The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.
This fast-paced team requires someone who looks around corners to plan ahead. Understanding basic company organization, working relationships, and business partner roles and responsibilities are important as this position will work closely with other assistants across various organizations within Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
- Work in partnership with senior leaders, functional business partners, and other EAs to provide seamless support to the organization.
- Proactively manage executive calendars with attention to accuracy, detail and allocation of time to promote productivity and recognize the need to reprioritize as appropriate.
- Understand business priorities and identify process improvements to create efficiency and scale for the leadership team.
- Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
- Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
- Act as a liaison for direct reports
- Complete expense reports, and manage corporate card purchases
- Management of team space, including moves and re-configurations
- Manage domestic and international travel as needed

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience with executive level calendar management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience managing multiple calendars

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
