Your Role
Job Responsibilities
- Create/modify accurate 3D CAD models, drawings, DXF files, and BOMs.
- Provide detailed engineering designs from concept to final product.
- Maintain engineering drawings and registers, ensuring traceability through the change process.
- Check mechanical design and detailed drawings for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
- Produce high-quality drawings within required timeframes.
- Collaborate with teams to improve products and processes.
Qualifications:
- Solid work experience in engineering drafting.
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks experience required).
- Exposure to FEA (Finite Element Analysis) is an advantage.
- Computer literate with 3D scanning knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication standards, welding specifications, assembly instructions, and general arrangement details.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and internal customers to produce accurate engineering drawing packages.
- Risk management experience (desirable).
- Team player with a collaborative approach
