Job Summary
This position is responsible for the creative development and implementation of the communications agenda, specifically photography and social media content for the Epson Tour, Epson Tour members, and tournaments. The candidate will report to Epson Tour Manager of Communications and Public Relations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Capture and edit studio-quality photos
- Follow and maintain brand guidelines in all production
- Create engaging material and graphics for Epson Tour social media
- Regularly collaborate with the Epson and Epson Tour marketing teams
- Produce media materials, including photos, interviews, graphics, and more
- Utilize applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or others for graphic creation
- Manage and oversee all technical aspects of photo capturing, editing, and production
- Build, organize, and maintain a photo library specific to tournaments and the Epson Tour as a whole
- Compile player photo packages for use on Opendorse social media platform, as well as media’s tournament coverage
- Conduct post-round interviews and produce round recaps on occasion
- Create posts with content on Epson Tour social media and engage with the audience
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, best practices and technologies
- Develop creative photography & graphics content and present to senior management
- Work with the communications team to develop and instill social media brand messaging
- Collaborate with the Epson Tour TBA on specific tournament or Epson requests and strategies
- Follow the promotion agenda of the Epson Tour to elevate the brands of members by creating content that promotes engagement and elevates coverage of tournaments, locally and nationally
- Other special, creative projects or duties, as assigned
Qualifications
- One to two (1-2) of full-time experience in content creation, communications or a similar role
- Previous work in golf tournaments or sports event communications/management preferred
- Background in social media platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook
- Knowledge of/experience using photographic & editing equipment
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro software applications
- Excellent project and time management with a sense of urgency for deadlines
- Creative and critical thinker with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within and across diverse groups
- A professional image, willingness to travel, eagerness to work as a team and be self-motivated
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
This position is remote, with +/-20 weeks of travel per year.
