Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing, Compliance & Contracting

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead the Procurement Compliance, Contracting, and Strategic Sourcing functions. The individual would be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process across the organization, managing the contract lifecycle effectively and overseeing strategic sourcing for Direct Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM).

What you would be doing:

• Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to the relevant policies and SOPs
• Conducting regular compliance audits and risk assessments, preparing reports and recommendations for improvements.
• Providing training and support to employees on compliance matters
• Serving as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and disputes.
• Maintaining a centralized contract database and ensure all contracts are properly documented and accessible.
• Collaborating with internal teams, including legal, finance, and procurement, to ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions.
• Developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals and conduct RFP process for Strategic sourcing categories in Direct RM/PM.
• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring favourable agreements that meet the company’s needs.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation.

Here’s what we are looking for:

• BSc. Degree in Business management in Science, Mathematics, Engineering , Transport and Logistics, or Supply Chain or relevant field of study from a recognised university
• 6 to 7 Yrs Experience in procurement category management in a FMCG or related industry – Raw & Packing Materials, Capital expenditure or significant indirect material groups
• Knowledge of price forecasting, trend evaluations, decisions in spot vs contractual buying, inventory planning for best cost outcomes
• Exposed to a structured sourcing methodology in managing key commodities or sourcing categories.
• Project experience in driving sourcing lead benefits to the business through cross functional workstreams
• Procure to Pay (P2P) process knowledge with experience in driving procurement compliance, developing procurement policies and facilitating roll out across the business
• Developing and floating RFQ’s, Bids, Contract Drafting and Execution, Developing Pricing formulas ,Claims management
• Negotiation of large spend and/or contracts
