Our Financial Advisory Team offers our clients advice on mergers & acquisitions, transactions, company valuations and restructuring. We are currently looking for a trainee to join the Corporate Finance Advisory team in Geneva for 6 months.
By joining our team you can actively support clients on identifying, analysing and executing buy and sell side M&A transactions. Your work will impact the pricing, strategy and successful completion of M&A transactions.
How You Can Make An Impact
- From the very start, you will be involved in the full Corporate Finance Advisory cycle: through performing market research, database analysis, valuations, buyer search, preparing pitches and information memoranda through to executing M&A transactions
- You can actively contribute to drafting client deliverables (Powerpoint and Excel) with increasing responsibility, and work directly with clients
- You will receive training and gain deep experience in the core skills of M&A industry through working in an established team on both internal and client facing projects
- You will contribute to the dynamic work environment with professional and like-minded colleagues
Who We Are Looking For
- You are a team player, motivated to learn and work in a demanding and rewarding work environment with a strong and genuine interest in how M&A creates value for shareholders and opportunities for companies
- Previous internships (and/or work experience) in M&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Finance, etc. are highly appreciated
- Enjoy solving and analysing complex problems with excellent numerical and analytical skills, and good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Working towards or completed a Masters degree in economics, finance and/or accounting with understanding and academic or professional experience of business valuation techniques
- English & French are mandatory. Any additional languages, especially German, would be a strong advantage
