Duties And Responsibilities
The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for Maxcess.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during the recruitment process. Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process for corporate positions, including following up with new hires throughout their probationary period to ensure engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify and draft accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Manage the job posting process.
- Identify and implement effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Screen applications and select qualified candidates. Schedule interviews, oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders as necessary.
- Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Deliver timely communication and updates to leaders, hiring managers, colleagues, and candidates.
- Focus on providing a positive candidate experience, regardless of the hiring decision.
- Attend and participate in job fairs and recruiting events.
- Manage the Cornerstone Applicant Tracking System and other job boards.
- Provide support for local HR initiatives as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required
- Willingness to work on-site in Eureka, MO during the initial training period, with a hybrid arrangement thereafter.
- Microsoft Office experience, (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-disciplined, taking pride in managing self to deliver agreed objectives.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and be able to multi-task and drive change.
- A flexible approach and an ability to change direction with minimum disruption to others.
- Personable, able to develop strong working relationships.
- Must work well autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Able to wear personal protective equipment (if entering designated manufacturing areas) – safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to travel domestically (approx. 10%).
Job Qualifications And Experience (Preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience, emphasis in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing all phases of the recruitment process strongly, emphasis in a manufacturing environment preferred.
