Transport Operations Executive in Chennai
Job Description
- Assist in coordinating and managing transportation activities, including but not limited to, scheduling and dispatching vehicles, coordinating routes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with transport team members to monitor and track the movement of vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transportation activities, such as trip logs, vehicle maintenance records, and fuel consumption reports.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers to provide updates on delivery schedules, address any issues or concerns, and ensure a smooth transportation process.
- Assist in resolving transportation-related problems and emergencies by providing timely support and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to optimize transportation processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Stay updated on transportation regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and incorporate best practices into daily operations.
