Job Description
Job Duties
Develops and maintains a database for housing and infrastructure data. Coordinates meetings with outside agencies or departments for collecting information. Schedules and conducts monthly meeting with all departments and/or agencies involved with collecting the data. Coordinates collection of data for a centralized information system.Â
Gathers, inputs, analyzes and researches information collected. Prepares letters or other correspondence at the direction of the Roads Department Director to obtain information, and/or to inform departments or outside agencies. Reports weekly progress, accomplishments and/or issues to the Director of Roads. Attends meetings and trainings as needed. Organizes and facilitates special activities for the Executive Director. Serves as the Safety Officer for the administrative offices. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university; or six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirementâ
An additional one year related experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSÂ
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.Â
Other Skills And Abilitiesâ
Must have extensive spreadsheet experience, be able to operate a 10-key by touch, must be able to read and interpret legal descriptions, have a working knowledge of GIS/Arc View software systems and geographic theory, compliance regulations, and be able to demonstrate managerial skills and knowledge. Cherokee speaker preferred.

Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
