Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Diagnosis:
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions through detailed assessments, medical history reviews, and diagnostic tools.
- Identify movement issues, pain points, and the root causes of physical limitations.
- Treatment Planning:
- Develop customized rehabilitation and therapy programs based on individual patient needs.
- Set measurable goals to track recovery progress.
- Therapy and Rehabilitation:
- Provide hands-on treatments such as manual therapy, massage, and joint mobilization.
- Use equipment like exercise machines, ultrasound, and electrotherapy as needed.
- Teach patients exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
- Education and Prevention:
- Educate patients and families about recovery processes, self-care techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
- Provide ergonomic advice and workplace assessments when required.
- Monitoring and Progress Tracking:
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of patient history, treatment sessions, and progress notes.
- Collaboration:
- Work with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Refer patients to specialists if needed.
