We are hiring a Porter for our brand-new luxury mixed-use development with 249 apartments and 27,000 square feet of retail space in Sherman Oaks, CA. The hours for this position are 1:30pm-10:00pm. Position Details The Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the Citrus Commons community, a luxury mixed-use development. You will ensure that all common areas and grounds are clean, safe, and inviting for residents and guests. You will help maintain the community to ensure pleasant curb appeal and good working order while providing excellent customer service to both residents and guests. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in creating a positive environment where people want to live. Responsibilities: Perform tasks such as removing trash, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting surfaces, washing windows, and disinfecting kitchens and bathrooms for common areas such as pool and spa, fitness center, laundry room, offices, clubroom etc. Maintaining grounds including cleaning and monitoring common areas and lighting for curb appeal, good working order, and safety awareness Complete outdoor projects such as power washing and painting curbs, fences, gates, walls, parking lot stripes, and speed bumps. Conduct touch-up cleaning for model and vacant ready apartments as directed. Track inventory levels of cleaning materials and communicate restocking needs to the Facilities Manager to ensure all supplies are available for daily operations. Identify and report any maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager. Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Facilities Manager as needed to support the community’s goals.
