What’s the position?

As a Sr. Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of business processes, effective communication skills, and the ability to analyze and implement efficient systems to drive organizational success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear and comprehensive system requirements.
  • Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions to optimize workflows.
  • Analyze existing business systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and propose innovative and efficient solutions to enhance business operations.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies that align with customer operations goals and requirements.
  • Lead and participate in the end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing and implementation.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform decision-making.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business units, development teams, and project managers / business analysts.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Provide support during the implementation phase, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Liaise with Learning and Development to build and deliver training sessions for end-users on new systems and processes.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
  • Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate findings to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Proactively suggest enhancements to optimize system functionality.

What we’re looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
  • Experience in the Online Gaming Industry is a distinct advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Possess a deep understanding of industry-specific best practices and trends.
  • Proven experience guiding junior BAs (Business Analyst), provide mentorship, and help shape the strategic direction of projects
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and best practices
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Certifications

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certifications are preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Project or similar.
  • Understanding of ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.
