Student Recruitment & Enrollment Manager

Job Description

  • Achieve 100% Enrollment on the 10th Day of School: Ensure all grade levels (K-8) are fully enrolled by the 10th day of school, meeting specific enrollment goals.
  • Recruitment Strategies: Develop and execute recruitment strategies targeting families with school-aged children within a 5-mile radius of the campus.
  • Marketing & Outreach: Implement a comprehensive marketing plan, including social media campaigns, community outreach, off-site presentations, and partnerships with local organizations such as daycare centers, housing authorities, and community centers.
  • Cold Calling & Community Engagement: Actively make cold calls, attend community events, and conduct neighborhood walks to generate interest and recruit families to apply.
  • Application Support: Support families through the application process, offering assistance with both online and paper applications and providing follow-up calls to ensure registration is completed.
  • Coordinate Open Houses: Organize bi-weekly campus open houses to engage with prospective families and provide school tours.

Enrollment Milestones & Management

  • Track & Monitor Enrollment Metrics: Track all stages of the enrollment process, from applications to registration, ensuring that all milestones are completed on time and according to goals.
  • Re-registration & Follow-up: Oversee the re-registration process by sending reminders and following up with families to ensure 100% completion.
  • Orientation Planning & Execution: Coordinate and manage all aspects of student orientation, ensuring smooth logistics, content delivery, and 100% attendance.
  • New Family Onboarding: Ensure all new families attend a new family onboarding event within the first 10 days of the school year.
  • Recapture Campaigns: Develop and execute campaigns to re-engage families who have withdrawn during the year to meet new student persistence goals.

Marketing & Communications

  • Brand Awareness: Promote Etoile Academy through social media posts, community events, and informational fairs.
  • Local Partnerships: Identify and build relationships with local community organizations, businesses, and other partners to support student recruitment efforts.
  • Parent & Family Engagement: Create a series of engagement initiatives to maintain strong relationships with current and prospective families, ensuring they are informed and actively involved in the school community.

Student Retention & Persistence

  • New Student Persistence: Ensure that 90% of new students persist through the school year by developing personalized engagement strategies and keeping families connected.
  • Acclimation & Integration: Lead efforts to help new students and families integrate into the Etoile Academy culture through specific onboarding activities, parent meetings, and student programs.

Team Management & Leadership

  • Team Supervision & Development: Manage and develop the student recruitment team, ensuring clear performance goals are set and achieved.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate weekly and monthly recruitment metrics to ensure alignment with school enrollment goals.
  • Training & Accountability: Provide ongoing training and coaching to student recruiters on effective recruitment strategies, communication skills, and enrollment processes.

General Responsibilities

  • Event Coordination: Support and manage logistics for community outreach events, including school fairs, open houses, and other recruitment initiatives.
  • Data Management: Maintain and track all recruitment data in a central system, ensuring all applications, interactions, and communications are recorded.
  • Collaboration with Campus Leaders: Work closely with campus leaders and the COO to align recruitment efforts with school goals and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with a diverse staff
