Job Description
We’re looking for a creative sergeant with a contagious love for problem solving. Somebody who knows the importance of craft, going beyond briefs and takes pride in helping everybody around them make great work.
Our future ACD – Art Director is a content-machine that uses their design skills to turn good ideas into holy-crap experiences. In this position, you’ll focus on producing work that fuels brands every. single. day. You’ll oversee a group of more junior creatives and provide direction, hone craft, and help with development. And you’ll be surrounded by a team that’s just as passionate about creating individual touch points for consumers.
Ready, Willing and Equipped To:
- Lead conceptual and executional work by inspiring and creating with a team
- Manage production / shoots. Photography and hands-on experience preferred.
- Manage and mentor junior team members
- Utilize and educate internal team members and clients on best practices within email, social and website content (typography, layout, etc)
- Build relationships across disciplines within Barkley
- Travel regionally intermittently
Performance Standards:
- Campaign objectives are met
- Work is on target, on time and within budget
- Demonstrates responsible decision making
- Manages expectations both up and down within team
