Job Description
Amazon Web Services is seeking an exceptionally driven, resourceful, and proactive Executive Assistant to help support our fast-moving global organization. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. The right candidate will have a strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and be able to work accurately when under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
You will be responsible for a wide range of activities including management of a fast-changing and complex executive calendar, and tracking key deliverables. Other activities may include planning and managing large-scale meetings and events.
You will be part of a team that is at the forefront of growth in exciting new areas such as Generative AI. You will be entrusted to a wide range of unsupervised decisions affecting the prioritization, importance, and speed of the business.
Please note this is an in office position requiring 5 days / week onsite in New York; remote / hybrid work is not currently supported.
Key job responsibilities
- Expertly manage complex executive calendars across multiple time zones.
- Craft detailed, efficient domestic and international travel itineraries that optimize time and productivity.
- Conceptualize and execute a diverse range of team events, from social gatherings to large-scale staff meeting agendas, global team meetings, and off-sites.
- Exercise sound judgment when handling confidential matters and communications in an ambiguous environment.
- Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items.
- Work with other assistants throughout the org and across the rest of the company.
- Play a leadership role with the administrative support team.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience assisting at the executive level
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment while maintaining commitment to deadlines
- Superior planning, time management, and organizational skills
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and in dealing with internal and external customers
- Experience designing processes and mechanisms to maximize efficiencies and improve communication clarity

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
