Job Overview

As a Cafe Manager at Haldivita, you will be stationed in Delhi, overseeing daily operations of our caf. This full-time, mid-level role involves maintaining high standards of food safety, customer service, and operational efficiency. A key requirement for this position is having culinary experience. You will play a pivotal role in crafting memorable customer experiences and ensuring our caf’s success.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Proficiency in food safety standards to ensure a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers, minimizing health risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems for efficient transaction processing and monitoring sales activities, ensuring ease of use for the team and creating seamless transactions.
  • Competence in inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and meet customer demand without interruption, ensuring product availability.
  • Excellent customer service skills to facilitate a welcoming atmosphere, rapidly address consumer inquiries and complaints, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Strong team leadership abilities to inspire, mentor, and develop caf staff, enhancing productivity and ensuring that employees are motivated and aligned with goals.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software to efficiently manage staff rotas, ensuring that business needs are met while accommodating personal requests.
  • Financial management skills for accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and efficient resource allocation within the caf.
  • Supplier negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing, ensuring the best quality ingredients and materials at competitive costs for the caf.
  • Culinary experience necessary to enhance menu offerings and ensure top-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Ability to manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in service and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques to diversify and enrich the caf’s menu.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the caf ensuring high standards across all areas from food safety to customer service.
  • Manage and train staff, fostering an environment of teamwork, efficiency, and friendly service.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Develop and manage inventory, ensuring stock levels are optimized to meet business demands without overstocking.
  • Handle customer concerns and feedback promptly, ensuring continuous enhancement of the caf’s service and environment.
  • Prepare and manage the caf budget effectively, monitoring expenses, and optimizing profit margins.
  • Use POS systems efficiently for daily sales transactions and metrics reporting.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to procure quality ingredients and caf supplies at competitive prices.
  • Implement and manage SOPs to maintain consistency in quality and service standards.
