The unit has a capacity of 34 beds.
It serves adult and geriatric medical/surgical patients.
Ages of patients served range from young adult to late adult, 18 to 60+.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6.
Core staffing includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, and Nurse Interns.
An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team.
The staffing model follows a variable staffing grid.
