Your Impact:

The VP Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the VP, including routing or answering routine correspondence, preparing communication and other documents, and developing presentation materials using graphics and graphs.

Responsible for various reporting duties and ensuring effective executive communication on behalf of the VP, as directed by their leader and when appropriate.

What you will do:

Calendar Management: Proactively maintains and manages calendars for Vice Presidents, ensuring they are prepared for daily operations and meetings.

Communication Liaison: Acts as the primary contact for internal and external customers, communicating on behalf of the VP(s) when necessary.

Document Production: Produces various routine and complex documents, reports, and presentations using advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.

Confidentiality and Discretion: Handles confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Event Coordination: Coordinates special events, including scheduling, logistics, and catering.

Budget and Expense Management: Assists with department budgets, compliance, and expense reports, performing analysis and projections.

Travel Coordination: Manages all aspects of the VP’s travel, including flights, hotels, and itineraries, ensuring a smooth and productive trip.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)

2 years of experience in two or more of the following: project management, product management, business analysis, program management, experimentation, or product marketing

1 year of experience in product and/or experience management

Experience in an agile software environment with strong writing ability

Experience working cross-functionally in a large organization

Experience working closely with senior leadership

Experience translating data into quantifiable actions/deliverables

Preferred Qualifications:

Educational Background: Master’s degree in business administration or a similar advanced degree.

Agile Methodology Expertise: Knowledge of Agile methodology, Jira, and Confluence.

Certified Scrum Product Owner: Certification in Scrum Product Ownership.

Industry Experience:

Where You’ll Be:

  • Associates are required to relocate to the Charlotte NC region to foster collaboration and facilitate improved support.
  • Lowe’s supports a Flex Office concept where in-person work is required 2-3 days per week at the Charlotte Tech Hub NC or Mooresville NC Lowe’s Headquarters.
  • Most business meetings are planned around the Eastern and Pacific Time Zones.
