In North America, we have had a presence for a long time. The first machines were imported more than 40 years ago. Today, there is a dedicated team of sales and service specialists who take care of the dealers’ and customers’ needs, with locations in the USA and Canada. This is supported by a strong administrative team in the Montreal area, responsible for all wholesale functions.

As General Manager North America, you will be at the forefront of driving our growth and innovation in one of the world’s most dynamic agricultural markets. Your tasks / This is what you move with us

  • Expansion: Drive the growth, development, and profitability of our companies in North America.
  • Strategy: Shape and implement strategies that align with global short- and long-term objectives.
  • Leadership: Inspire, guide, and empower the North American Team to excel and achieve alignment with corporate goals.
  • Objective Achievement: Ensure the successful delivery of targets set by headquarters.
  • Reporting: Provide regular, structured updates on key projects, market trends, and performance metrics to headquarters.
  • Sales Planning: Plan and forecast sales volumes for wholesale and retail to maximize market potential.
  • Dealer Network: Build, strengthen, and optimize dealer networks to support strategic growth across North America.
  • Stakeholder Representation: Represent AMAZONE Inc. as the primary point of contact for customers, partners, and industry stakeholders in North America.

Your qualifications / This is what you bring with you

  • Educational background: University degree in a relevant specialization such as agriculture, agricultural technology, engineering, business administration, or a comparable field, or an equivalent education.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven success in selling capital goods or other complex products at a dealership or manufacturer level.
  • Dealer Network Management: Adept at building, managing, and optimizing dealer networks for sustainable growth.
  • Process development: Hands-on experience in developing processes and structures in a growing business environment.
  • Market knowledge: Familiarity with the agricultural market in North America, including its specific demands and dynamics.
  • Communication skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Intercultural competency: A strong ability to work in a highly intercultural environment.
  • Language proficiency: French language skills are an asset.
  • Personal attributes: A collaborative team spirit, high resilience, a structured and proactive approach to work, and the willingness to travel extensively.
