Description

The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will be providing confidential administrative support to the Human Resource Department.

They will be responsible for preparing time sensitive and advanced correspondence including letters, memoranda, and reports. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with ability to work independently.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

  • Prepare confidential correspondence for department.
  • Coordinate, set-up and monitor budgets for corporate employee events.
  • Coordinate and execute employee events
  • Assist in preparation of new employee packages, photos in vision and intranet etc.
  • Coordinate HR updates with regional offices (compliance posters, new hire package, employee events, etc.)
  • Assist with confidential data entry for tracking purposes (training certificates, etc.).
  • Assist with internal intranet employee HR postings
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings.
  • Back-up front desk support.
  • Miscellaneous internet research.
  • Assist with departmental QAQC processes.
  • Assist and monitor department HR inbox and Faxes
  • Filing for department

What you’ll need

  • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of internet research.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Position requires minimum of 40 hours a week with the possibility of overtime.
  • Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Human Resources Management or related major preferred and/or National certification from Society of Human Resources Management.
  • 3+ years human resource experience with an emphasis in Human Resources.
