Job Description
We are seeking to expand our Capital Formation team by adding an experienced Head of Systematic Marketing to provide sales and marketing support to the Capital Formation team and Investment team. The candidate will lead the end-to-end systematic sales process to execute LP/prospect meetings, roadshows, and conferences to drive the sales pipeline. The candidate will work closely with the Founder, Managing Partner, Chief Operating Officer, senior members of the Pantera Investment team and the Capital Formation team. The position is full-time and requires presence in our New York office.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Execution of Systematic/”One-to-Many” Capital Formation Initiatives
- Roadshows for Founder, Managing Partner and Investment Team
- Conferences
- Capital Formation group lunches/events
- Drive participation and follow-up for publications and conference calls
- Oversee the Client Data Strategy and Execution
- Maintain and enhance key LP/prospect data points to support Capital Formation priorities
- Analyze results of meeting scores, lead scores and other client-specific engagement parameters
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry into Salesforce and ongoing data quality
- Roadshow Coordination for the Founder, Managing Partner and Investment Team
- Direct Campaign Managers on which invites to create based on client data and consultation with roadshow participants and Capital Formation team
- Quality control on all roadshow correspondence
- Oversee status and next steps for all meeting invitations
- Review all reply emails and ensure entry into Salesforce
- Calendar Management
- Validate appropriate meeting slots created in the correct cities and dates
- Confirm that that calendar is accurate at all times and all conflicts are avoided
- Review logistics of proposed meeting schedule to ensure feasibility of travel
- Manage the open slots to be filled and meetings that need to be confirmed
- Pre-Meeting Preparation
- Validate meeting participants
- Oversees creation and delivery of presentation materials
- Ensures preparation and delivery of supporting materials (e.g. client data, prior meeting notes)
- Confirm meeting materials delivered to client
- Ensures travel logistics are sensible and realistic
- Action Items/Follow-up
- Review Meeting Notes for completeness and accuracy
- Review follow-up emails for personal tone and relevant content
- Ensure timely delivery of follow-up notes
- Ensure Action Items logged to tracker
- Review and resolve Action Items with appropriate Pantera team members
- Ensure follow-up meetings are scheduled
- Research potential conferences for Pantera senior team to join
- Research new conference opportunities
- Evaluate based on defined criteria
- Lead approval discussion with Capital Formation team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Previous experience in business development, sales, and marketing, client data management
- Previous experience in business communications or other writing experience
- Exceptional verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent personnel, project management, and time management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), Salesforce, tech savvy
- Attention to detail and concern for quantitative accuracy
- Knowledgeable and passionate about blockchain/cryptocurrency technology a plus
Compensation:
$250,000 – $300,000 USD
- Compensation range is provided as an estimate and will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
