Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data across various systems while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. This position requires excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update data into company databases, spreadsheets, and systems.
  • Verify the accuracy of information and data entries, identifying and correcting errors.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations.
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Review and cross-check data for inconsistencies or discrepancies.
  • Respond promptly to data-related inquiries or requests.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain and update records, ensuring they are current and accurate.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is a plus).
  • Proficient in typing with high accuracy and speed.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and data entry software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
