Role – QA Manual Testing Lead

Location: – Remote

Shift Timing: – 2PM to 10PM/ 3 PM – 11 AM IST/ 4PM – 12AM IST

Exp: – 9 to 15 Years

API Testing & JIRA experience is very important.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Testing Lead to join our Quality Assurance team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual testing and quality analysis, with a proven track record in leading QA initiatives. This role involves oversight of the testing process, ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality. The Manual Testing Lead will collaborate closely with development teams to facilitate effective testing strategies and will play a crucial role in the improvement of testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the manual testing process, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand project goals.
• Identify and document defects, track issues, and verify fixes through thorough retesting.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members and promote best testing practices.
• Perform risk assessments to prioritize testing efforts and ensure critical functionalities are thoroughly tested.
• Continuously analyze and improve testing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders, providing insights for decision-making.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with 10-15 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in manual testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive quality initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking software is highly desirable
