Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of storytelling, and the technical expertise to transform raw footage into compelling visual content. You will work on various projects, including promotional videos, advertisements, social media content, and long-form storytelling, ensuring that each piece aligns with our brand identity and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos, including color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Assemble recorded footage and create seamless, engaging narratives.
• Add music, sound effects, graphics, and special effects to enhance the final product.

Content Development

• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop concepts and storyboards.
• Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
• Suggest creative ideas to improve video storytelling and viewer engagement.

Post-Production Management

• Organize and manage video assets and ensure proper storage and archival.
• Maintain project schedules and meet deadlines consistently.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure videos are error-free and meet high production standards.

Technology & Tools

• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing tools, trends, and techniques.
• Operate video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar programs.
• Work with various file formats and ensure compatibility across platforms.

Collaboration

• Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
• Adapt feedback quickly and make revisions as needed.
• Communicate effectively to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Experience

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

Skills

• Strong understanding of video production workflows, including editing, color grading, and sound design.
• Ability to work with motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong storytelling skills with a focus on audience engagement.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
