Senior Marketing Executive – Events Marketing

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our conference marketing team!

As a Senior Marketing Executive at HWG, you will create and deliver multichannel marketing campaigns for a full complement of events. You’ll balance tried-and-tested activities with new ideas to achieve lead generation, conversion, and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages data research process with key stakeholders to target the right audience
  • Delivers detailed campaign analysis to identify key levers
  • Demonstrates effective email marketing, copywriting, data segmentation and use
  • Leverages affiliate marketing through speakers, sponsors, media partners and associations
  • Implements social media strategy and management
  • Autonomy over marketing budget allocation at event level, with manager’s support
  • Attends weekly project team meetings
  • Delegates core tasks to the MA team
  • Champions specific technical skill sets
  • Demonstrates a commitment to L&D through the MA Training Programme and onboarding new starters at more junior levels
  • Conveys enthusiasm to test new marketing tools within our marketing tech stack
  • Upholds cross-functional process standards and effectively manages expectations

  • Capable of managing several campaigns at the same time, prioritises urgent tasks, knows own limitations and pre-empts delays, and sets considered deadlines for MAs

Education & Experience:

  • 2.1 or above degree in any subject
  • 1-2 year’s event marketing experience
  • Additional marketing qualifications and courses are optional
