As the Director, Marketing Communications at PDQ, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the brand across channels and executing brand and communications initiatives that support organizational goals. Leading the Content Marketing and Design teams, you will also partner closely with the Media team to ensure that our content supports campaigns across the full buyer’s journey. You’ll lead the development and implementation of brand strategies, driving thought leadership, managing public relations, and ensuring alignment across all corporate communication channels to enhance brand awareness, credibility, and engagement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and lead a strategic vision to increase awareness of PDQ’s brand and enhance the company’s reputation.
- Build and oversee communication strategies and plans in alignment with our senior leadership team, including messaging, thought leadership content, social media, speaking engagements, public relations, analyst relations, and more.
- Drive media strategy, managing proactive and reactive media relations. Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners to enhance brand reputation and generate earned media opportunities.
- Manage the Content Marketing and Design teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and support, fostering a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive environment.
- Oversee PDQ’s overall content marketing strategy and social media strategy
- Refine and strengthen the perception of PDQ in the market, ensuring we bring a fun, differentiated, and consistent brand and visual identity in the market.
- Partner with and direct the work of an external agency for PR.
- Create guidelines and processes that ensure our strategy, voice, and identity are well-understood and easily adopted.
- Be a brand ambassador, reinforcing the brand values within the organization and the broader market.
- Oversee the development of content that empowers our demand generation and customer marketing teams to effectively guide prospects through the buyer’s journey, encompassing various formats such as SEO-optimized web content, collateral, nurturing campaigns.
- Participate as a member of the senior management team, collaborating with multiple departments.
We’re Looking For People Who Have
- 7-10 years in a marketing communications or brand strategy leadership role within a B2B SaaS company; Product-led Led Growth experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree
- A successful track record of building brands and communications strategies that drive measurable results with their target audiences
- Experience in the IT industry is highly preferred
- Proven ability to lead teams, innovate content strategies, and drive brand recognition through impactful storytelling
- Strong understanding of market research and consumer behavior
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative thinking and ability to develop innovative marketing strategies
- Analytical skills to measure and evaluate the success of marketing initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with media partners
