Wrench Group is seeking an talented Digital Media Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various digital marketing channels to provide actionable insights and recommendations that optimize campaign performance, improve user experience, and drive informed business decisions across a company’s online presence; utilizing tools like Adobe, Google Analytics, social media analytics platforms, and other data analysis software to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and suggest data-driven strategies to enhance digital marketing initiatives. Responsible for connecting marketing performance data and operational execution to measure the success of inbound activity. This role will lead a team of analysts and be responsible for establishing best practices and developing benchmark metrics.

What Will I Do?

  • Data Collection and Analysis
    • Monitor and gather data from multiple digital platforms including website traffic, social media engagement, paid advertising campaigns, CRO analysis and email marketing.
    • Utilize data analysis tools to extract key metrics, identify patterns, and interpret complex datasets.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, customer acquisition costs, and engagement metrics.
    • Focus on maximizing ROAS for the generating leads through paid media and call centers
    • Responsible for delivering end-to-end marketing operations success metrics
  • Campaign Performance Evaluation
    • Assess the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns across different channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email) against established goals.
    • Analyze campaign data to identify areas for optimization, such as targeting, creative assets, and budget allocation.
    • Generate reports that detail campaign performance, including insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • User Behavior Analysis
    • Analyze user journey and website behavior to understand customer interactions and identify potential pain points.
    • Track user engagement metrics to identify areas for website and user experience improvement.
    • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to implement data-driven design changes
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Develop strategic reporting and insights to deliver across the executive level, regional stakeholders, and localized business
    • Provide strategic delivery of reporting and insights
    • Present data visually using charts, graphs, and dashboards to effectively convey complex information
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to translate data insights into actionable marketing strategies

Do I have What it Takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5+ years of well-rounded experience in a marketing analytics role with a proven track record of success
  • Experience working with multiple business units or supporting affiliate business structures
  • Strong understanding of various marketing channels and strategies, including digital and traditional media.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
    • Familiarity with data visualization software (Domo, Power BI)
    • Basic understanding of SQL or other data manipulation languages (preferred)
  • Analytical Skills
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions
    • Ability to identify trends and patterns within complex datasets
    • Must have a curious mindset and eagerness to identify the story behind the numbers as opposed to simply building to spec
  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present data insights to non-technical audiences
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
