Director of Finance

HopeWest is looking to grow our finance team with an experienced and passionate leader to oversee our comprehensive program, provide regulatory, and operational leadership to the Business Offices & the Finance department. This includes direction and oversight of fiscal and budgetary activities.

The Director will oversee the production of accurate reports on where money is going within the business and the trend for potential improvements or changes of current practices to increase efficiency and or sustainability.

As a non-profit organization deeply rooted in community involvement, we have served more than 4,000 individuals annually across 8,000 square miles, spanning five counties. With a focus on compassionate hospice care, palliative care, and grief support, we aim to offer dignity, respect, and support during life’s most challenging moments.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting software, corporate principals, and financial analysis.
• Experience managing a company’s cash flow.
• Knowledge of financial forecasting.
• Detail and results oriented.
• Leadership and business acumen.
• Expert level problem solver and analytical.
• Ability to take complex data and find the key metrics.
• Desire to learn and grow in the role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Competitive pay of $99,840-$131,040 dependent on education and experience.
