TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assign and supervise tasks of supervisors / officers and staff of the Housekeeping / laundry Department.
- Assigns workers, their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness, sanitation & hygiene.
- Ensure implementation of infection control practices and EPA/SEPA/SHCC standards compliance.
- Develop/review/compile housekeeping and laundry services related policies and SOPs.
- Manage hospital waste management with assurance of infection control practices and guidelines.
- Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more elicit operation and visit campus facility on daily basis and maintain visitation data.
- Responsible to investigate HK / porter / laundry complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, takes corrective action and maintained records.
- Arrange staff training and development as per requirements of clinical and non clinical area.
- Examines equipment. HK facility (including waste dump arca) to determine need for repairs or cleaning or replacement of equipment / tools, and makes recommendations to management, (all non-capital equipment).
- Conduct staff meetings to discuss company policies and patrons complaints and maintain records.
- Participate in the internal/external meeting with the Head of Department: maintain records and recommendations.
- Maintain periodic departmental performance reports and prepare analysis.
