This position will be focus on Community Engagement and Social Impact.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Development: Assist in crafting community engagement strategies and executing social impact initiatives that align with our company’s mission, values, and business objectives.
- Relationship Building: Implement high-quality projects that foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including individuals, community leaders, and organizations.
- Event Coordination: Provide logistical support for stakeholder engagement activities, including organizing visit programs, guest invitations, and sponsored events.
- Volunteer Leadership: Lead the internal volunteering team to help achieve company volunteer hours targets and certain sustainability goals, ensuring effective communication and project management.
- Impact Assessment: Assist in the social impact assessment (SROI) for the organization, utilizing qualitative and quantitative metrics for reporting.
- Complaint Resolution: Handle escalated public complaints with professionalism and care.
- Program Support: Support internal and external programs that promote our brand, CSR, and sustainability initiatives.
- Communications Preparation: Prepare corporate communications materials that effectively convey our mission and values.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the team.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of work experience in public affairs, CSR, customer service, COMMUNICATIONS, and project management.
- Public Awareness: Proven experience in raising public awareness of social responsibility commitments and enhancing brand reputation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated experience in engaging with government bodies, District Councils, NGOs, and community groups.
- Team Player: Friendly, passionate, and a creative problem solver with strong business acumen.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the current social impact landscape, impact measurement frameworks, and emerging trends in the industry.
- Organizational Skills: Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong time management skills and meticulous attention to detail with excellent follow-through on deliverables.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin (both spoken and written).
- Flexibility: Less experienced candidates may be considered for the Senior Executive role.
