Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Coordinator to manage key aspects of our global supply chain. This role involves overseeing global sales order management, coordinating warehouse inbound, storage, and outbound operations, supporting expedited shipments, and managing miscellaneous non-inventory stock. Additionally, the role includes field inventory data management, status tracking across multiple supply chain functions, and delivering timely reports for Amazon’s key programs.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to Sales, Install Operations, Customer Service, Mapping, Manufacturing, Lab and Engineering. Together, you’ll drive reliable product installations for our customers and deliver great customer experiences.
This is a highly collaborative role, with the feel of a startup within a larger company. Proven and hands on experience in supply chain, administrative, warehousing and logistics roles is essential.
Key job responsibilities
- Take ownership of managing sales orders across all programs, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data entry and maintenance.
- Proactively track the progress of sales orders, addressing any potential delays or discrepancies, and ensuring timely fulfillment.
- Act as the primary advisor to customers, providing them with regular updates, insights, and support to meet their business needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to streamline the order management process and resolve escalations efficiently.
- Oversee all aspects of inbound shipments to the LAS10 warehouse, ensuring proper documentation, handling, and processing upon arrival.
- Manage storage operations, optimizing space utilization, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Coordinate outbound logistics, ensuring timely dispatch of goods while minimizing errors and delays.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance the efficiency and reliability of warehouse operations.
- Lead the management of expedited shipment requests, ensuring urgent deliveries are prioritized and executed within defined timelines.
- Handle the procurement, tracking, and distribution of miscellaneous non-inventory stock, aligning with program-specific requirements.
- Work closely with logistics partners and internal teams to ensure smooth handling of time-sensitive shipments.
- Analyze shipment data and trends to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
- Collect and validate monthly field inventory data across all programs, maintaining high levels of accuracy and consistency.
- Track inventory usage, availability, and discrepancies, ensuring alignment with operational and customer demands.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly status reports, offering insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve field inventory tracking and reporting processes for greater efficiency.
- Other duties and projects will be assigned on a need to basis as it relates to business needs.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with warehousing and logistics, order management, customer advisory, reporting and data maintenance.
- Experience using data analysis and reporting tools to drive communication and reporting for customer advisory i.e., Excel, Tableau etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational bottlenecks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships (both internal and external).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or Certification in Supply Chain/Operations management.
- 2+ years of work experience in supply chain/logistics/transportation.
- Expert or advanced competencies in Excel and other reporting tools
