Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Planner Analyst for the Converting plant in Grand Prairie, TX. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Relevant job experience of 1 to 3 years is required College degree and/or APICS certification preferred The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or SAP experience is also a plus. Candidate should possess a strong inclination for analytical thinking. Project management and inventory management experience/skills strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Procure Raw Materials: Purchase and control raw material levels via MRP and CRP models daily. Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production needs while minimizing excess supply. Order Processing: Analyze and process orders daily, with emphasis on meeting customer-requested dates. Support Production & Scheduling: Utilize effective communication skills to support production and scheduling activities, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and corporate goals. Supplier Coordination: Proof supplier acknowledgements against purchase orders and update supplier production information on a weekly basis. Communicate delays to scheduling and collaborate with suppliers to gain the best customer experience. Inter-Division Collaboration: Work with other Printpack divisions/plants to utilize aged and unallocated materials. Regular interaction with sales, customer service, and product development are required. Effective Communication: Develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and externally Computer Skills: Effectively navigate several software tools, including Microsoft Office and JDE Enterprise 1 production and planning software.
