About The Role
Practice Directors are integral to the success of our studio, driving operational excellence to ensure flawless execution of creative vision. They play a pivotal role in optimizing resources, refining structure and systems, and weaving together dynamic teams to propel Rapt’s work forward.
At Rapt, Studio Leads hold a project and resource management position. They’re responsible for overseeing the project lifecycle—guiding the studio’s delivery process, crafting new business proposals, developing project scopes, onboarding new initiatives, mentoring Project Leads, and driving project operations. Ultimately they’re responsible for ensuring teams are thoughtfully constructed to deliver projects on time, within budget, and exceeding client expectations. They work closely with Finance, Head of Practice, Creative Directors, and Project Leads to strategically manage studio resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 15+ years of experience including 5+ years as a creative project or resource manager.
- Experience in a design studio is preferred
- An understanding of new business proposal and scope development, project budgets and accounting practices, and contract development and management
- Experience with construction/installation pricing and feasibility, and architecture, interior design, and/or graphic design practices is a plus
- Experience with experiential and event design is a plus
- An intimate understanding?of capacity, internal resources as well as an ability to flag challenges and opportunities and problem solve.?
- Experience resource and project planning for complex projects and cross location and cross functional teams
- An ability to source and manage freelance resources and consultant partners, expanding studio capability infrastructure

Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications. Salary for this role is estimated between $90,000 to $150,000 plus benefits and bonuses.
