Job Description
As a Vice President, Experiences Partnerships within Chase Travel, you will have the opportunity to develop and manage all aspects of our supply partnerships in this category. You will bring your strong background in contract/relationship management, negotiation, strategic planning, and managing ongoing operations to curate exceptional experiences for our customers and partners. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you will establish partnerships that promote our business forward.
You will also work closely with our internal cross-functional team to incorporate that supply into a differentiated onsite, consumer journey. This role will require you to lead projects that span across both Lodging and Experiences and potentially other categories, providing a diverse and exciting work experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute against partnership strategy in order to achieve the Experiences mission.
- Create business proposals for new Experiences partnerships and articulate how they drive value as part of the overall strategy.
- Manage the onboarding, integration and ongoing operations to ensure we deliver a seamless customer and partner experience.
- Manage multiple Experiences partners and opportunities at one time. The candidate will be accountable for partner engagement and outcomes.
- Monitor the external environment for important competitive developments and potential partnership opportunities and communicate more broadly to key line of business partners as a subject matter expert.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to ensure Experiences and key partnership receive visibility and strong messaging with customers.
- Collaborate closely with product and tech to ensure key partnerships and supply are integrated seamlessly onto the CT platform.
- Define business opportunity for various customer segments, card types, and possibly partnerships that warrant something unique.
- Deliver enhanced discoverability of Experiences while considering all Chase products on key landing pages.
- Lead projects that enhance the user experiences across Lodging and Experiences categories.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams like servicing, product, technology & design to deliver user experiences that meet Chase Travel goals.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 5+ years of travel industry experience
- 3+ years of business development and/or strategic partnership management experience
- Strong cross-functional partnership and operational management skills
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing strategic agreements and managing high-profile partnership
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong analytical skills; business trend analysis, understanding impact of new supply/supply optimizations
- Willingness to travel for partner meetings, conferences, and events as required
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Travel experience within Experiences/Tours, Activities, and Attractions highly preferred
