Your role within Corporate Services will support the department to deliver housing assistance, homelessness support services, local government support and advice, state and regional planning, public works building and design and industry regulatory reform. The work you will do helps someone every day, and that means the world to us.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Team Leader, the Quality Assurance Support Officer will be responsible for providing effective, timely client focused software testing for the Department’s Corporate Application systems.
What You Will Be Doing
- assisting in the preparation for evaluations and in the operation of test environments.
- maintaining & supporting the currency of testing scripts in test environments.
- reviewing requirements and specifications and defining test conditions.
- designing test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting outcomes.
- using appropriate methods and tools, executing tests, and recording test results.
- contributing as a member in a team-based working environment to ensure the delivery of a range of high quality IT services that meet the needs of clients.
