Description
ROLE PURPOSE
To ensure the successful and timely delivery of business-critical projects by leading, managing and coordinating required activities between Glory and their Customers. You will manage projects to supply major retail and banking customers with products, services and ongoing support. Projects will include the installation and roll-out of Glory hardware solutions or technical delivery such as software development or complex application/system integration, testing and production release.
You will engage and work in partnership with business stakeholders including 3rd party suppliers to agree and document project requirements and then apply project governance framework throughout its entire lifecycle to ensure a consistent and transparent approach.
Key Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management with responsibility for the project in terms of scope and requirements, planning, risks/issues, costs, and quality
- Prepare and create Statement of Work, Project Initiation Documentation, detailed plan, RAID log
- Lead internal and external presentations, workshops and meetings and act as single point of contact for customer Programme/Project Manager
- Assemble and manage virtual project teams from cross functional/matrix managed departments across the Glory organisation and suppliers
- Responsible for generating project reports, cost tracking and change management
- Maintaining active communication with internal stakeholders, customers, partners and suppliers often with disparate teams across the globe
- Continuous improvement of tools, methodologies and processes to drive quality and efficiency
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Several years of experience in a similar role leading significant business critical projects
- Experienced in the use of Project Planning tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet
- A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications in particular Excel
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Release Management Processes
- Strong leader with the ability to influence others and manage expectations
- Industry experience and cash handling equipment/process knowledge would be an advantage
- Fluent in Spanish and ability to communicate in English is a must
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Able to adhere to tight deadlines and manage changing priorities
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Degree Level is desirable but not essential
Qualifications:
A recognised project management qualification such as PMI or Prince 2 is desirable but not essential. More of interest is the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of project management and how they are applied
