Job Description
Location – Erbil, Iraq – 12 weeks on/3 weeks off
Duration – 5 years + 2 – Facilities Management Operations (FMO)
Applicants must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance for this role, which requires UK Nationality and 5-10 year footprint living and working in the UK.
Please note this is not a tax-free assignment and you will be subject to UK tax for the duration of the assignment.
The Role
KBR is operating as well as maintenance services for existing infrastructure assets across MOD’s operational estates in Erbil, Iraq.
Responsibilities
- Manage and control all project logistics and supply chain activities, including the procurement of goods, warehouse operations, and staff administration
- Perform compliance checks to ensure alignment with FMO contract activities
- Report any non-compliance issues identified during audits to the Compliance Supervisor and Management
- Oversee and supervise the movement, distribution, and storage of suppliers and materials within the company
- Plan and monitor the inbound and outbound movement of project goods
- Respond to any issues and complaints promptly
- Evaluate budgets and expenditures
- Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs
- Review and approve invoices as required
- Review minimum stock levels of frequently used materials and stores to ensure adequate stock holdings
- Produce monthly reports
What We Need
- Must have previous experience in warehousing or distribution roles
- Proficient in performing internal audits on New Works, Planned, and Reactive maintenance tasks to ensure contract compliance
Desirable
- Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Ideally from an auditing background and have completed internal auditor training
- Working towards CISCP/CISCM Level
- Knowledge/experience with ERP & BI reporting
